Current Ward 1 Councilman | Running for re-election

Mark Licker was elected to Clarkstown Town Council in November 2024 and now, in 2025, he is running for re-election.

He has lived in New City since 1986 and his wife Lisa has lived in Clarkstown since 1963. They raised three children, Justin, Allison and Jessica all who flourished in the Clarkstown School District. Mark and his wife Lisa have run a successful law practice in New City for 37 years. 

Mark is dedicated to the following common sense approach to government: 

  • Transparency in the Town Hall

  • Stabilizing Taxes

  • Preventing Over Development

  • Protecting our Quality of Life

  • Preventing Over Development

  • Reducing Traffic Congestion

  • Safety — The major routes of 304 and 303 are undergoing traffic studies and we will need the state to make major improvements according to those studies.
