Bob Milone
Candidate for Re-Election for Superintendent of Highways
Bob Milone is a lifelong resident of Rockland County and a small business owner currently serving as Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Clarkstown, since being elected in 2019. Before his election as Superintendent of Highways, Milone was an active leader in the Communication Workers of America (CWA), Local 1107, where he served in several roles including Legislative Coordinator, Secretary-Treasurer, Benefits Coordinator, and Organizer. In these positions, he advocated for workers’ rights, negotiated on behalf of union members, and helped strengthen workplace protections and benefits for working families. He carried this experience with him over the course of his tenure as Superintendent of Highways, as he worked to improve working conditions for the department’s employees dedicated to keeping Clarkstown’s roads clean and safe, while enhancing efficiency and quality of service for residents; and led the town’s efforts to repave town roads and ensure they are clear and safe during snow storms. For more than a decade, Milone owned and operated a small building and contracting business and is also a local restaurant owner. Milone lives in Congers with his family.
