Eugene Bondar

Candidate for Town Supervisor

Eugene Bondar is a dedicated public servant with a clear vision to protect and strengthen Clarkstown. For more than a decade, Eugene has served as a government attorney, including nearly four years as Rockland County’s Principal Assistant County Attorney. In that role, Eugene provided trusted legal counsel, guided major capital projects, and helped ensure that taxpayer resources were used responsibly and effectively.

Additionally, Eugene has experience working at the city, county, and state levels – and all three branches of government. He has fought wasteful spending – saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars, negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts that preserved Rockland’s green space, and enforced zoning laws to stop illegal development, deter overdevelopment, and protect neighbors.

Eugene is one of only two Rockland County Bar Association delegates to the New York Bar Association, where he plays a key role in shaping legal policies, expanding public access to justice and information, and advocates for fair legislation.
