helping to clean up the big banks in the wake of the 2008 Great Recession. Subsequently, he worked for multiple members of the U.S. House of Representative, helping to craft legislation on taxes, education, the environment, trade, the military, the federal budget and appropriations, and Social Security and Medicare.
Dan met his wife Katie during their time together at Manhattan College. They married in October of 2021. Both being from Rockland County, after getting married, they decided to make their home in Nanuet to be close to their parents and start a family of their own. They welcomed their incredibly bright, energetic, and fun-loving son Tommy in July of 2023.
Dan believes that in order to ensure that Clarkstown remains a beautiful place to live and raise a family, we need to make smart investments and practical decisions now that will set us on a better path to future success. For too long, our town leaders have allowed the same static status quo to persist, making establishing and maintaining a life in Clarkstown nearly cost prohibitive and robbing our town of its dynamic potential.
Dan believes we need fresh ideas, fresh perspectives, and fresh drive, from someone who is wholly invested in the future of our community, not the past; from someone with the experience in government to know how to get things done, who knows how to take ideas from conception to enactment, and who knows the importance of reaching across the aisle to find common ground.
Dan is a member of the Rockland GAA, and a member of the Manhattan College Pipes and Drums. In his spare time, he enjoys nothing more than spending time with his family and playing with his son.
